About the Author

Akanksha Sai Dhanashekar is an educator, curriculum designer, and spiritual storyteller with a deep passion for bringing ancient wisdom to young hearts.
With an academic foundation in Business Management (BBM) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), along with a professional CGMA Diploma (Chartered Global Management Accountant), Akanksha bridges the worlds of knowledge, values, and practical learning. Her journey into teaching the Bhagavad Gita and other Hindu scriptures began during the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as simple online sessions soon blossomed into a profound calling. She discovered her life’s purpose in making the eternal truths of the Gita relatable and exciting for children.
In a pioneering effort, she went on to design the world’s first structured curriculum for the Bhagavad Gita tailored for young learners, which was later implemented through a leading EdTech platform in India. Her innovative approach includes storytelling, journaling, craft activities, and value-based reflections that connect ancient shlokas to everyday challenges faced by children today.
Through this book, Akanksha lovingly invites children and parents to explore the Gita not as a religious text, but as a handbook for courage, clarity, and compassion—one that can light the path of every child, one story at a time.
