About the book
"What is poetry?", you asked. I looked at the bird in the sky It flew to the sun, golden and white.
But I keep dead roses in my pocket, while brewing my cold tea.
It is the blame you take for the smell of ashes while you burn and they view. And it is the same rain you love that will drown you.
About the author
Adwika Singh, is a girl who simply fell in love with writing when she was in fifth grade, and never recovered from it. From a mere age of nine years, she’s found comfort, love, distress and uncertainty all wrapped around her own words, sometimes rhyming and sometimes raw rambling. When she isn’t reading books and wondering when she’s going to be able to write that well, though, she collects coins (the ancient ones), paints (a lot), and sings (terribly, in her opinion). A ballet dancer and a lover of all things artistic, she also proudly claims to have excellent taste in music.
