About the Book
 
When the Dark Remembers began as a small “what if” that wouldn’t leave me alone. I wanted to write a story that made me wonder, shiver, and imagine what might be hiding just beyond the light. I’ve always loved stories that mix curiosity with a little chaos, where adventure and fear blur just enough to make you think. Writing this book taught me that imagination can take you anywhere — even into the dark — as long as you bring a bit of courage and mischief with you.
 
About the Author
 
Avni Pathak is a young writer and artist who loves to paint, read, and explore worlds of imagination. A proud Ravenclaw, she’s a big fan of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo, and she’s drawn to stories full of magic and adventure. Her favorite animals are the Arctic fox and the tawny owl, creatures as curious and clever as she hopes to be. She dived into her first horror novel for fun (and a bit of curiosity), picking a genre that made the story her own. Avni lets her imagination lead the way, following curiosity wherever it takes her. This is her debut book — the first of many tales.
